Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Computer Animation, Game Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in game art design, ideally with a focus on VR.
- Strong proficiency with Blender and Unity, our primary game design and development tools.
- Exceptional ability to create 2D and 3D assets optimized for real-time rendering.
- Broad understanding of the technical constraints related to real-time graphics and various gaming platforms.
- A keen interest in education, with the ability to translate educational concepts into engaging visual content.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
What you’ll do
- Lead the creation and implementation of game art, from conceptualization through to implementation.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and educational experts to produce immersive and pedagogically sound VR field trips.
- Optimize the use of graphics and effects to ensure smooth performance on all VR platforms.
- Mentor junior artists, providing guidance in best practices, techniques, and skills development.
- Maintain consistent style under the direction of the Art Director and ensure visual quality remains at the highest standard.
